Civics and Citizenship website. This website contains resources, information, activities and links for teachers, students and parents involved in civics and citizenship education. 

 

Civics and Citizenship resources are available online at the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) website.  Curriculum that is offered to students from Prep to Year 10 is accompanied by a range of teaching and learning aids to ensure teachers and students maximise the opportunities for education. 

 

WebQuests and Thinking Internet activities website - these activities have been developed to meet the VELS criteria.  Include resources for Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Commerce and Civics and Citizenship.

Aussie legal - Provides excellent summaries of many statues, Aussie Legal is an easy-to-navigate site with content organised by topic and sub-topic.

 

The Australian Institute of Criminology - This site has papers on a wide range of legal topics, as well as crime and criminal justice statistics.

 

Argument mapping - navigating around Rationale, examples, templates, assessment ideas and activities to integrate critcial thinking in your classroom.
